On January 21st, 2025, our youth from the PIPE Project in Kalmunai and Navithanvely hosted an inspiring event at Christa Hall, Kalmunai. The youth displayed the overall layout of the project, shared the valuable lessons they’ve learned, and talked about their personal experiences over the past two years.
At the heart of the event, they demonstrated how they’re incorporating eco-friendly practices into their daily routines and embracing holistic approaches to peacebuilding. Through the project, they’ve become champions of peaceful living and integration within multi-ethnic communities.
Our multi-stakeholder partners also joined us to reflect on the significant impact our youth have had, highlighting the powerful theme of the PIPE Project: Integrating Peace & Ecology 🌿✌️
