Reconciliation Committees of Sainthamaruthu, Nintavur and Ampara, organized and carried out an experience sharing meeting as an initiative to reconciliation.
On 15.07.2023 Ampara Sinhala speaking people went to Nintavur and Sainthamaruthu area and on 16.07.2023 i.e. next day people of Nintvaur and Sainthamaruthu area went to Ampara areas.
There the three communities came together to share their language, food, art and cultural values with each other and to create understanding about it. Also, the people felt and shared that all communities should live together in the future without misunderstanding form the past.
