A youth group under PIPE (Promoting Integration of Peace & Ecology) project successfully conducted the river side cleaning on 09th of May 2023
Commonly the natural places always attract all creatures. Especially this river side is one of the beautiful place identified in Ampara District. The ecology project of PCA is implementing the integral ecology approach with peace activities through youth reconciliation forum members in this division. The river side cleaning event was conducted by the youth forum members with support of PCA staffs. They instructed the disadvantages of plastic pollution and how it affects the living creatures and also they explained about this year’s United Nations environmental day theme #BeatPlasticPollution.
