Awareness and initiative conducted by youth and government officials under PCA implemented Y-CHANGE project on mid of March 2023 in Lahugala Four divisions together conducted an initiative at Lahugala area to empower the school students to provide deep knowledge about prevention violence extremism and its effects.
Especially some segments that included in this initiative are as follows;
- Sharing impact stories by Y-CHANGE youth about self transformations and how to prevent the violence through behavioral and attitude changes.
- Awareness to sewing trainers on that village.
- Initiated a cultural events to promote youths’ soft skills on that stages
- Awareness about PVE to school kids
