Under the pipe project included youth group where in Navithanvely DS division they were planned to conduct event on 21st of September 2023 at Navithanvely Annamalai Maha Vidyalaya (National School).
An awareness program was organized and conducted under the Promoting Integration of Peace and Ecology project. Youth of the Navithanvely division and past pupils of the KM/ST/Navithanvely Maha Vidyalaya National School were presented about how we can reduce the use of plastic and ignore plastic products in our day-to-day lives. Nearly 120 people, including students and teachers, participated, and plant-able eco-pens were presented to them.
They were provided eco-friendly seed-inserted pens for each and every student and staff member who took part on that day. Especially one of the youth, Mr. Kirushna Under the pipe project, he presented a useful presentation about microplastics and their disadvantages for our living environment, sharing his own experience too.
On that day, PIPE project staff also presented. The project coordinator, Mr. N. Pasker, explained the importance of this project and that overview, and Mr. MMM. Ahnaf, who is on the project staff, conducted a brief questionnaire session with children, asking about the current trending project and its impacts on every human’s life too.
